Teaching your kids bike safety isn’t enough — you need to practise what you preach.
Whenever you hop on your bike or go off on a family bike ride, you can do your equipment checks together.
Make sure your kids can see that you’re dressed for your bike ride too — with your helmet strapped on, wearing any high-vis gear if you need it, and no loose clothing.
If you want to be more comfortable on bike rides, you can wear anti-chafing shorts. Moisture-wicking anti-chafing shorts will eliminate chafing, sweat and a sticky saddle — helping you to enjoy cycling more and focus on your kids instead!
